"The Heart of Prajna Paramita Sutra" is the most famous and popular Buddhist text Mahāyāna. Its title in Sanskrit is "Prajnaparamita" and is also known as the "Heart Sutra".
The Heart Sutra is a teaching of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the Buddha of Compassion, to the monk Shariputra. It is regularly sung by Buddhist practitioners during meetings and meditation practice. Although the shorter Sutra Prajnaparamita, it contains the key concepts of Buddhist philosophy of Skandhas, the Four Noble Truths, the cycle of interdependence and the central concept of Mahayana Buddhism, emptiness.
